About Us
What is ICECO?
ICECO (Islamic and Science Competition) is an annual olympiad organized by SMA Trensains Tebuireng and led by ORSATRENS (Organisasi Santri Trensains). More than just a competition, ICECO is a space where qur’anic values and scientific exploration come together because faith and science are part of the same journey in seeking knowledge.
7th Edition of ICECO
Now in its 7th edition, ICECO 2026 invites junior high school students (SMP/MTs or equivalent) to compete in mathematics, natural sciences (physics, chemistry, and biology), and qur’anic studies. We encourage students not only to master formulas, but to explore the wonders of the universe as a form of tadabbur reflecting upon his signs.
ICECO is not simply about winning. It is about nurturing curious minds and shaping future muslim scientists who are ready to embrace technology while staying grounded in their faith and identity.
